An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a new, premium care home due to open in 2026. This is a rare chance to be involved at an early stage, shaping the culture, standards, and success of a high-quality service from the outset. You will be supported by a values-led and highly experienced senior leadership team and will play a pivotal role in commissioning, launching, and embedding exceptional, person-centred care within a luxury setting.

The Role
As Care Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, hospitality, and commercial delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing visible, inspirational leadership and setting a strong, positive culture
- Overseeing all operational aspects of the home, including care quality, compliance, staffing, and occupancy
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing multidisciplinary team
- Managing budgets, financial performance, and commercial targets
- Supporting the commissioning and opening of the home, including recruitment, systems, and processes
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the local community
- Driving enquiries, admissions, and the home's premium reputation
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a confident and experienced care home leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Care Home Manager within residential and/or dementia care
- Experience within the private care market
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound commercial awareness, including budget and occupancy management
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, and admissions processes
- A values-driven approach with high standards and attention to detail
- A genuine desire to build and lead a successful, high-performing home
- Commissioning experience is highly desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
Salary & Package
£65,000 - £75,000 per annum (DOE)
Performance-related bonus
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00, with flexibility required)
