This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader to take responsibility for a local branch, delivering high-quality, personalised care while developing the team and supporting continued business growth.

The successful candidate will provide clear and supportive leadership, maintain strong regulatory standards and build trusted relationships with customers, families, healthcare professionals and community partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing branch team.
  • Ensure customers receive safe, consistent and person-centred care.
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of visiting, respite and live-in care services.
  • Build relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, GPs and referral partners.
  • Support branch growth through community engagement and business development.
  • Monitor budgets, KPIs and overall branch performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with operational, quality, HR, finance and marketing teams.
  • Share best practice and support a culture of quality across the wider region.

About you

  • Previous management experience within care or a related sector.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Good commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and KPIs.
  • A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and quality frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills and the resilience to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using systems, technology and performance data.
  • Flexible, adaptable and focused on achieving positive outcomes.

Desirable

  • Previous management experience within domiciliary care.
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Care, or a willingness to work towards it.
  • Good knowledge of CQC or CIW regulatory standards.
