Bright Selection is pleased to be supporting a luxury care provider recruiting a home manager to commission their exciting new service in the Lancing area. Due to open at the end of 2025, the home is nearing completion and when finished will provide an outstanding environment for residents, staff and families. Our client is an established and well regarded non-corporate group with a successful portfolio of homes. Led by a highly regarded and experienced exec team, the home manager will be given the resource, support and guidance to commission a premium nursing home for older people. The group are keen to appoint a manager to start in the next couple of months and be fully involved in the handover of the home, recruitment of their team and raising the home's profile in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Working with head office and the projects team to oversee the completion of the home
- Recruitment of the care team and heads of department
- Liaising with head office to market the home in the community
- Assessing and managing the move in process for residents
- Managing enquiries and show rounds for prospective residents
- Registration with CQC
- Day to day leadership of the home to ensure the highest standards
- Driving continuous improvement
- Supporting and developing the staff team
- Financial management, increasing and maintaining occupancy
Requirements:
- Home management experience gained in a good or outstanding rated home
- Knowledge of CQC and the inspection process
- Commitment to ensuring the highest standards of person centred care
- Exposure within the private market is essential
Remuneration:
Salary negotiable DOE but c£85,000 per annum + 25% bonus
