This is a hands-on, shop-floor-based position involving the inspection of precision-engineered components throughout the manufacturing process. You will ensure that finished products meet the required engineering specifications, quality standards and customer requirements. THE ROLE Your responsibilities will include: Completing goods-inwards, in-process and final inspections Operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Inspecting components against engineering drawings and technical specifications Using micrometres, verniers, height gauges and other precision measuring equipment Accurately recording inspection results for traceability and quality audits Supporting First Article Inspection, PPAP and associated quality documentation ...
