Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm | No Weekends

Due to continued expansion and the successful award of several new contracts, our client is looking to recruit an additional Credit Control Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in credit control, collections, debt recovery or account management who enjoys building strong client relationships whilst delivering excellent financial results. While experience within medical collections would be highly advantageous, it is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates from commercial credit control, financial collections, debt recovery or legal collections backgrounds who are looking to develop their career within a specialist sector.

As the successful candidate, you will take ownership of your own portfolio of healthcare-related accounts, working closely with hospitals, medical organisations and other healthcare providers to recover outstanding debt professionally, ethically and efficiently. You will also act as the main point of contact for your clients, providing regular updates and ensuring the contracts continue to perform successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts from start to finish.
  • Recovering outstanding debt on behalf of hospitals and medical organisations.
  • Building long-term relationships with your clients through excellent communication.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on collection performance.
  • Ensuring service levels and client expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Liaising with debtors to negotiate payment arrangements where appropriate.
  • Working closely with internal teams to maximise collection performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client satisfaction and contract success.

We’re looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Credit Control
  • Debt Recovery
  • Collections
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Medical Collections (desirable)
  • Legal Collections (highly advantageous)
  • Customer Account Management

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent telephone communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building ability.
  • Professional, confident and organised approach.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • Good IT and administrative skills.
  • Previous experience within a target-driven environment would be beneficial.
