Part-Time Account Manager – Legal Sector (Credit Control)
Skelmersdale – Office Based 9:00am–5:00pm (25 hours + per week) £27,000 Pro-Rata + Monthly Bonus +- £500 per month
The Role
We are recruiting a professional, articulate and experienced Account Manager / Credit Controller to manage outstanding debt within a legal and professional services environment. This is not a high-volume call centre role. The successful candidate must have previously worked within a solicitors’ practice or professional legal organisation and understand the standards, tone and confidentiality expected in that environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing outstanding invoices within a legal portfolio
- Liaising professionally with commercial clients
- Handling sensitive financial conversations
- Maintaining written correspondence of a high professional standard
- Negotiating structured repayment arrangements where appropriate
- Ensuring accurate system updates and audit compliance
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within a solicitors’ firm or professional legal organisation
- Experience in credit control or debt recovery within a professional environment
- Confident handling sensitive financial discussions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in an office-based, structured environment
Important
