Average current earnings: approx. £3,100 per month including overtime and additional payments Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are urgently recruiting an experienced CPCS-qualified Slinger / Signaller to join an established lifting and crane operations business based in the Reading area. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the company's Wargrave (RG10) yard , as this will be your operating base. The Role Working alongside crane operators and lifting teams, you will be responsible for safely preparing, attaching and directing loads during lifting operations. Typical duties will include: Selecting and attaching the appropriate lifting accessories to loads Slinging and securing loads ready for lifting Directing crane operators during lifting operations Using recognised hand signals and communication methods Ensuring loads are lifted, moved and positioned safely Carrying out pre-use checks of lifting accessories Working closely with crane operators and site teams Following all site health and safety procedures Essential Requirement You MUST hold a valid CPCS Slinger / Signaller qualification. Applications from candidates without the required CPCS qualification cannot be considered. Any additional crane, lifting, plant, HGV or relevant industry qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
