- Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
- Hold an electrical engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Live within approximately 15 miles of postcode PR4.
- Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.

The Company
Bright Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a permanent days-only basis. This is a static factory maintenance role. You will be maintaining production machinery and site equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and assisting with continuous improvement projects.

The Role
Your duties will include:
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown maintenance
- Maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps and production equipment
- Supporting mechanical maintenance where required
- Working closely with the wider engineering team
- Assisting and mentoring an Engineering Assistant when required
- Participating in a paid on-call rota
Essential Requirements
You must have:
- Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Current experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience maintaining production machinery
- Basic mechanical maintenance skills
- Full UK driving licence
