An exciting opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join a growing Cloud Engineering and Platforms practice. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, building and automating secure scalable cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build secure, scalable cloud platforms using IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) reusable modules, and modern DevOps Practices, including CI/CD and cloud-native automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across platform services, DevOps tooling and deployment pipelines.
- Embed secure by design principles across identity, networking, etc.
- Produce clear high-quality technical documentation and support delivery.
About You:
- Strong hands-on engineering capability with a passion for automation, cloud platforms and DevOps excellence.
- Confident engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and modern DevOps tooling.
- Experienced in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with Agile ALM tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Understanding of Secure by Design principles across cloud infrastructure, identity, and networking.
Good to have:
- Relevant Azure certification (AZ400 or AZ305) and exposure to AWS or GCP environments.
- Client-facing consultancy experience, with contributions to internal platform frameworks, reusable services, or automation testing (e.g. Selenium).
- Development experience in .NET and/or Python.
Due to the nature of this role successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance. To be eligible for this role you must have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years.
