Our client is a global technology business that develops state-of-the-art down-hole wireless data and communication solutions used in the oil and gas industry globally. As a field engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, transportation, deployment, and installation of complex technical equipment at customer sites globally, including offshore.
Whilst not in the office in Aberdeen working on client-specific projects and up-skilling through ongoing training, you will join small teams of engineers and be deployed globally to work on client-specific projects.
The ideal candidate will have some experience gained in a similar commercial environment with offshore experience or have worked with equipment and technology used within the oil and gas industry. Ex-military personnel are also welcome applicants.
You will need to be based within commutable distance from Aberdeen, have the right to live and work in the UK, and be happy to undergo rigorous offshore survival training and undertake medical checks. Full product training will be provided.
On offer are base salaries from £20,000-£35,000 plus daily rates of £100-£120 per day (circa 50% of the year spent travelling), plus overtime, Pension, Life Assurance, Bonus, Private Medical, and much more. Career progression is most definitely on offer.
