Bright Purple is supporting a major warehouse automation implementation programme and we’re looking for two experienced Test Leads to take ownership of testing across the delivery.

This is a senior role for someone who has led testing in live operational environments and knows what it takes to get complex automation into a working warehouse. You’ll lead a relatively junior test team, so you’ll bring structure, direction and strong QA standards, while staying hands-on with the testing yourself.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll lead and guide the test team, setting the approach and making sure testing is planned, structured and delivered properly.
  • You’ll test complex systems and business processes in a live operational setting, take ownership of testing activities from start to finish, and give the programme confidence in quality at every stage.
  • Coaching and developing less experienced testers will be a big part of the role.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead, managing and guiding testing teams.
  • Strong operational QA testing background, ideally within warehouse, logistics or operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience testing complex systems and business processes in live settings.
  • Experience leading testing on large-scale operational or automation programmes.
  • A strong delivery focus and the confidence to take ownership.

What will really make you stand out

  • Warehouse automation experience is the key thing here.
  • Experience with Exotec Skypod Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems is the ideal match.
  • If you haven’t worked with Skypod but have strong experience with other robotic warehouse management or automation systems, we’d still very much like to hear from you.
