We are seeking an experienced Zscaler Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage and support a client's internal Zscaler function. This role involves day-to-day administration, integration with other IT systems, and the delivery of training and best practice guidance to internal teams. You will be embedded within the client’s cyber or network security function, acting as the go-to expert for Zscaler services, including ZIA, ZPA, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily administration and optimisation of Zscaler services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, etc.)
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving Zscaler-related issues
- Managing policies, user configurations, and integrations
- Work with internal teams to ensure seamless integration between Zscaler and other security/networking tools (e.g., identity providers, SIEM platforms, endpoint solutions)
- Assist in onboarding new applications and services into the Zscaler environment
- Develop and deliver training materials for internal teams
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and standard operating procedures
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Zscaler-related initiatives and escalations
About You:
- Minimum 18 months hands-on experience administering and supporting Zscaler environments
- Proven experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and/or Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
- Experience with SAML, SCIM, Active Directory, and identity federation tools
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc.)
- Experience integrating Zscaler with security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, CASB)
Desirable Skills:
- Zscaler certifications (ZCCA-IA, ZCCA-PA, or ZCCP)
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python)
