ERP Configuration Analyst (Contract) Hybrid/Edinburgh Inside IR35 - 400 per day A leading UK homebuilder is looking for an experienced contractor to join its Homebuilding Product Team, supporting and enhancing key business applications across Finance, Commercial, Construction and Land.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys turning business requirements into working solutions and driving change through system configuration and process improvement, while also contributing to the delivery of the company's future Homebuilding Platform programme.
What you'll be doing Deliver enhancements and system changes across Finance, Commercial, Construction and Land platforms.
Configure applications to meet business requirements and improve user experience.
Manage user stories through the full lifecycle, from requirement to deployment.
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement and prioritisation activities.
Coordinate testing and release activities with business and technical teams.
Work with third-party suppliers to deliver configuration changes, fixes and enhancements.
Act as a key contact for business users across Homebuilding functions, troubleshooting issues and identifying root causes.
Recommend and implement improvements to business processes and system usage.
Support the delivery of the Homebuilding Platform transformation programme through system configuration, setup, design and testing.
What we're looking for Experience supporting and enhancing business applications in a Finance, Commercial, Construction or ERP environment.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central.
Proven experience delivering system changes through configuration rather than software development.
Experience managing and delivering user stories and change requests.
Strong understanding of system testing, release management and deployment activities.
Experience working closely with business users and translating requirements into practical solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Housebuilding or construction industry experience.
Experience with Finance and Commercial systems such as Evision, Causeway, COINS or IFS.
Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning, backlog management and user story delivery.
Experience supporting large-scale ERP or business transformation programmes.
