Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst
Salary: Up to £55,000
Edinburgh/Hybrid
We’re looking for both Agile Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to join a forward-thinking team working alongside cross-functional software engineers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our client’s products are developed in line with the strategic roadmap — meeting customer needs while supporting delivery teams to achieve excellence.
Main Duties;
- Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to define, document, and refine features and user stories.
- Analyse customer problems and project scope to deliver high-value, high-quality solutions while preventing unnecessary scope creep.
- Contribute to product strategy development and support related commercial business cases.
- Work closely across the business following Lean and Agile principles to ensure effective delivery.
- Assess client requests, user insights, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify product enhancements.
- Evaluate regulatory or compliance changes and determine how they should be incorporated into products.
About You:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes and system integrations to inform detailed user stories.
- Experience owning or contributing to product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value.
- Background in Agile software delivery or a strong interest in developing your expertise in this area.
- Experience working with SaaS (Software as a Service) and cloud-based products.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, balancing customer needs, product strategy, and technical considerations.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for contributing to team success.
- A combination of business insight and technical understanding, with the vision and drive to turn ideas into reality.
