About the Role

One of the most exciting and disruptive new arrivals in the medical device space are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive product development in a regulated hardware environment.

This is a rare opportunity to oversee the development and delivery into key international markets of a ground-breaking product that could change the face of medicine and healthcare forever.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, overseeing the complete project lifecycle from planning and scheduling to risk management and milestone delivery. This role involves collaborating closely with engineering and scientific leads to ensure smooth project execution and optimal team coordination.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in regulated environments, with an emphasis on quality management systems and project management frameworks. Experience with medical device development is a plus but not a requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project delivery plans with clearly defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain project management infrastructure using tools like MS Project, GANTT Charts, Jira, Agile, or PRINCE2
  • Coordinate day-to-day project operations, from scheduling and documentation to supplier coordination and team meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain essential quality management and documentation files, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support lab setup and operation, including health and safety oversight and resource management.

About You:

  • Proven track record in project management within regulated industries, ideally with experience in hardware product development.
  • Knowledge in regulatory standards i.e. ISO 13845, FDA compliance, etc.
  • Skilled in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles in regulated settings, including knowledge of change control and risk management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Technical understanding of electronics or fluid mechanics is advantageous.
