They're looking for a Reliability Engineer to join their Aberdeen-based Electronics R&D team, someone who gets under the skin of a failure, understands exactly why it happened, and puts in place the engineering rigour to make sure it never happens again.

Responsibilities:
- Qualifying electronic components for use in high-reliability, high-temperature applications
- Identifying obsolescence and supply chain risks before they become operational headaches
- Supporting PCB manufacturing improvements through hands-on testing of electronics and materials
- Collaborating across engineering, production and quality to solve real-world reliability challenges
- Building and maintaining the technical documentation that keeps risk visible and managed
Requirements:
- A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- A background in electronic design or test
- Clear communication skills as you'll be writing technical reports and influencing across teams
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with failure analysis, accelerated life testing, or high-temperature electronics
- Knowledge of component packaging, PCB manufacturing or database tools
- The occasional flexibility to travel
