We're looking for an AD to lead the F1 agency team for one of our key client accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key senior member of the Partnerships Team, and to play a key role in the launch of a new global partnership with a brand-new Formula 1 team!

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a complex corporate ecosystem, demonstrate advanced communication skills, and be able to manage a broad range of internal, external, and client-led stakeholders across multiple international markets.

The right person for this role will be a true leader, providing expertise and ideas to become a trusted advisor to the client, driving the project forward across all workstreams and managing their team of direct reports in a way that allows them to thrive. They will be passionate about storytelling, eager to develop a deep understanding of our clients' business and sponsorship objectives, and keen to add real value to the partnership, strengthening the client relationship to ensure future growth for their, and our, business.

The position is based in London, UK and includes international travel, often at weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong knowledge of our client's business strategy, solutions & services
  • Partner asset management, managing the communications between global and local stakeholders, and rights holders
  • Lead strategic planning and ideation, often in a multi-functional, or cross-agency team
  • Run regular stakeholder meetings and be accountable for reporting
  • Ensure all communications & approvals deadlines are met and brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Discuss all major progress, changes and any challenges whilst presenting solutions
  • Review successful delivery, best practices, key learnings and client learnings / insights
  • Develop and encourage innovation and new thinking for our clients
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate and review supplier contracts
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sports partnerships or marketing agency experience
  • F1 knowledge or experience. More broadly, an interest in football or music will help relationship building
  • Complex stakeholder management experience is key for this role
  • Experience working with complex multi-national brands would be advantageous, for example an oil or energy company
