As our Acquisition Lead, you'll play a critical role in driving the growth of our member community, with primary ownership of paid acquisition channels and a strong contribution to broader acquisition and engagement strategy. You'll work collaboratively with our wider Marketing team to deliver data‑led campaigns that grow our member base, increase engagement, and ensure Bright Network remains the go-to platform for ambitious students and graduates across the UK.
While paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google) will be your core focus, this role sits within a wider acquisition ecosystem. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure paid activity is aligned to overall growth targets, member demand, and performance across organic, social, SEO, partnerships, and direct channels. Alongside this, you will be joining an exceptional collaborative atmosphere where everyone is supportive and focused on adding value.
You'll have real ownership of acquisition channels from day one, with the full backing of a team that has built a genuinely loved brand and product. This is your chance to make your mark, bringing fresh ideas and energy to our acquisition strategy as we enter our next exciting phase of growth.
Specifically, you will:
- Contribute to shaping the overall acquisition strategy, using paid channel insights to inform decisions on growth targets, channel mix, and budget allocation.
- Plan, execute and manage paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Google to drive member acquisition and engagement.
- Own our performance channels, with a strong focus on CPA, efficiency, and scaling what works — testing across audiences, creative, and channel mix to drive incremental growth.
- Own budget planning and allocation across channels, ensuring spend is aligned to acquisition targets and efficiency goals.
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and creative alignment across paid, organic, and content channels.
- Support the events team as required to drive maximum registrations through paid.
- Brief and collaborate with designers and content creators to produce compelling ad creative and copy tailored to a student and graduate audience.
- Build a strong understanding of our student audience, their behaviours and channel performance to inform future strategy.
Does this sound like you?
- Hands‑on paid media experience with demonstrable expertise across Meta and Google, managing and optimising campaigns end‑to‑end with a track record of hitting acquisition or engagement targets.
- Proven ability to develop and execute acquisition strategies, including being comfortable owning KPIs, budgets, and performance forecasting.
- Experience working across multiple channels, with a clear understanding of how paid, organic, and content work together to drive growth.
- A data‑driven mindset, comfortable in Ad platforms and data visualisation and reporting tools, letting performance data inform your decisions.
- Comfortable owning budgets and making commercial decisions.
- A creative eye, understanding what resonates with a young audience and able to brief designers effectively.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and communicate performance clearly to stakeholders.
- You embody our values of growth mindset, will to win and trust to deliver, and feel passionately about our mission to build the workforce of tomorrow.
If your experience looks a little different to that outlined, we’d still be keen to hear from you if this is a role that excites you and one that you think you could really excel in!
We can offer you:
- Work on a product that’s genuinely loved by its customers — with an NPS of 91 and a 10‑year track record firmly established as no.1 players in the market.
- An exceptional benefits package including: extremely generous holiday allowance (28 days + bank holidays + 2 week Christmas closure), flexible working & “work from anywhere” policy, £50 monthly wellbeing budget, enhanced Aviva pension, private healthcare with Bupa, enhanced parental leave, regular team socials & more!
- Our mission — upskilling the next generation of future talent and connecting members with opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have access to!
