Bright Network uses technology and data to connect young people with career opportunities and partners with global companies such as Amazon, Google and Goldman Sachs. We are growing and need an Events Manager to help create networking events for 5,000 students and 200 employer partners.

As an Events Manager, you will take responsibility for end-to-end event management across a portfolio of Bright Network's events, such as Women in Leadership, Black Heritage Future Leaders, Proud to B and Internship Experience UK. You will join a growing, collaborative Events team that balances project coordination and creativity.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end event management, including preparation and coordination, overseeing smooth running of the day and relevant budget.
  • Manage a portion of our current portfolio of event clients – working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand client needs and drive positive ROI.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and vendors, including onboarding and acting as first point of call for issues.
  • Be the first point of contact for student enquiries regarding events, from application through to post-event survey.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events effectively, reviewing and proofing print and digital marketing materials.
  • Undertake administrative responsibilities for vendor accounts on HubSpot.
  • Contribute ideas on how to improve Event team operations.
  • Line manage summer Events Interns.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in project management and/or events management, delivering high-quality events.
  • Motivated to grow as a key contributor to a high-performing events team in a fast-growing business, flexible with a strong team focus.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and calm under pressure.
  • Confident and articulate communicator with strong relational skills with client stakeholders, students and vendors.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Formstack, Customer.io or Canva would be beneficial but not essential.
