Watford – Kitchen Assistant – September Start
Part Time: 25 hours per week
Set Shifts: 9am-2pm, Monday‑Friday – all year round
Pay: £12.83 per hour / £17,512 per annum (including a 5% performance bonus)

Roles and Responsibilities
This role involves supporting the full‑time Nursery Chef to prepare and cook meals for our children, ensuring a high standard of catering that follows policies, procedures, and legislative guidelines while maintaining our excellent 5‑Star Food Hygiene rating.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the importance of health and hygiene
- Experience in a kitchen environment (nursery or school settings desirable)
- Understanding of catering for special diets, allergies and intolerances
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
- Good time‑keeping and organisational skills
- An enthusiastic, flexible, can‑do attitude
