Bright Little Stars Nursery in Hornsey, London N8 is hiring two Room Leaders to join our warm, dedicated team and help deliver outstanding early years experiences for our children and families.
About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage your base room, ensuring daily routines and EYFS requirements are consistently met.
- Track all children’s developmental progress, identify additional needs, and plan activities that drive outstanding outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates, meetings, and home learning support.
- Manage, coach, and motivate your room team, including deployment, supervisions, and performance reviews.
- Maintain safeguarding standards and report any concerns in line with policy.
- Support the Nursery Manager with cohort tracking in March, July, and November.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture where every child and staff member can thrive.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), as required by OFSTED guidelines.
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience managing a group of key children and completing developmental records.
- A caring, solution-focused approach with real commitment to high-quality childcare.
