We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Room Leader to join our fantastic team in our Toddler classroom! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Room Leader, helping to guide and inspire the team while creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Responsibilities
- Support the Room Leader in the Toddler classroom and help guide and inspire the team.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities.
- Contribute to upholding high standards of early years education and safeguarding.
What We’re Looking For / Qualifications
- Experience in the Early Years sector
- Passionate and caring educator who thrives in a team
- Knowledge of EYFS and play-based learning
- Relevant early years qualifications in accordance with current OFSTED guidelines, a minimum of Level 3 equivalent
- Ideally live within a 40-minute commutable distance
- Experience of leading a team in an early years environment and managing a key group of children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and confidence in leading
- Empathetic, caring, and friendly
- Excellent planning and organization skills
