Location & Working Hours: Hornsey N8 (accessible from Hornsey station, King’s Cross 20 mins, Turnpike Lane Tube). Full Time – 40 hrs/week, Start September 2026.
Salary: Up to £37,042 per annum (Base salary £33,674 + up to 10% performance bonus (OTE £37,042)).
Responsibilities:
- Managing parent enquiries, admissions records and nursery administration
- Maintaining accurate and confidential child and parent records
- Managing the waitlist, responding to nursery place enquiries and keeping detailed records of all family communications
- Coordinating settling‑in sessions and preparing new starter documentation alongside Room Leaders
- Supporting fee administration, including invoices, direct debits, childcare vouchers and Tax‑Free Childcare payments
- Welcoming families, children and visitors in a professional and friendly way
- Supporting reception cover during key drop‑off and pick‑up times
- Liaising with parents, suppliers, contractors and the nursery management team
- Ensuring documentation is stored securely and in line with GDPR
- Supporting the Nursery Manager and Head Office team with general administration
Qualifications & Skills:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident, professional and approachable
- Experienced in administration or office management
- Comfortable working in a front‑of‑house role
- Able to communicate clearly in person, by email and over the phone
- Confident using Excel, Outlook and Word
- Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Positive, proactive and passionate about supporting a high‑quality nursery environment
- Experience within a nursery, school, childcare setting or regulated environment would be desirable, but is not essential
