This advanced first opinion practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its team in Greater Manchester on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, ensuring that exceptional standards of care are delivered consistently to clients, patients, and colleagues. The role requires maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational compliance while contributing to a professional and supportive practice environment.

The team has veterinary surgeons holding certificates in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. The clinic is equipped with a full orthopaedic kit, gastroscope, endoscope, and laparoscopic equipment, providing the opportunity to work with a varied and technically advanced caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care within the clinic and maintain exceptional standards for clients, patients, and colleagues.
  • Maintain regulatory and operational compliance and contribute to a professional and supportive practice environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues with certificates in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound to manage a varied and technically advanced caseload.
  • Work 40 hours per week over four days and participate in a one-in-six weekend rota.
