An experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon is sought to join the welcoming team at a Manchester clinic that focuses on consistently high standards of clinical care. The rota is weighted towards surgical work, with three out of four working days primarily dedicated to procedures. The clinic is well equipped with five consulting rooms, two advanced operating theatres, and a dedicated dental suite, featuring separate wards for dogs and cats to ensure patient comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex soft tissue surgeries independently and provide support and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Develop the wider team’s surgical skills, helping to build confidence and maintain clinical excellence across the practice.
  • Deliver a varied caseload covering both medical and surgical cases, benefiting from an on-site orthopaedic surgeon’s expertise.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in surgery and experience with soft tissue procedures.
  • Confidence in performing complex surgeries independently.
  • Willingness to support and mentor colleagues.
