My London based client is seeking an experienced senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, community-focused practice located in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. With the support of the surrounding branches and in-practice team, the Lead Veterinary Surgeon will have the autonomy to shape clinical standards, mentor a committed team, and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical standards, mentor the team, and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.
- Operate on a four-day working week, with 10-hour shifts each day and a 1 in 6 weekend rotation based at the local hospital.
- Work two bank holidays per year, complete one on-call week annually, and undertake a small number of ERS shifts allocated throughout the year.
- Provide high standards of patient care with access to nearby 24-hour hospitals and an experienced regional team.
- Contribute to a varied and rewarding caseload within a well-equipped practice and support the professional development of colleagues.
