My lovely client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced GP vet to step into a senior role at a beautiful practice just outside Epsom, Surrey. This is a chance to join a supportive, close-knit team and take the lead in a well-established clinic with an ever-growing caseload.
The salary for this position ranges from £64,000 to £85,000 FTE, depending on your experience and allowing room to grow within the role. You’ll also benefit from a generous package that includes:
- 6.6 weeks of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Private medical insurance with Bupa
- A CPD budget of up to £2,000 per year with five days' paid CPD leave
- Relocation assistance for the right candidate
The practice is a thoughtfully designed space featuring a spacious prep area, walk-in kennels, and a welcoming reception area for a loyal and growing client base. On-site diagnostic tools include digital and dental x-ray as well as ultrasound facilities, allowing you to deliver high-quality care with confidence.
This full-time role is based on a four-day working week, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rotation at the branch and a 1 in 10 Sunday shift at their 24-hour hospital in Wimbledon. You will be rota’d to cover up to two bank holidays per year at the hospital.
As the Senior Vet, you will work alongside our Senior RVN to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, taking accountability for diary coordination, clinical standards, and team engagement. You will be supported by an experienced Regional Manager as well as a Regional Head Vet for clinical guidance whenever needed. Additionally, you’ll have the full support of the hospital for complex case referrals and out-of-hours care, ensuring your patients receive continuous, high-quality treatment.
With another part-time vet joining the team soon, you'll be part of a well-staffed environment, with no sole charge except during routine Saturday shifts. Located in a picturesque part of Surrey, there are multiple nearby train stations and easy access to sought-after areas of London such as Richmond and Wimbledon. For those with a love of travel, Gatwick Airport is only a 30-minute drive away.
