An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the welcoming and supportive team near Finchley. This role is ideal for a nurse looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established practice that values professional development, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. The practice is situated on the doorstep of Hampstead Heath and features a modern consultation room, a well-equipped hospital, digital radiography facilities, a spacious prep room, a dedicated dental suite, a closed operating theatre, and separate dog and cat wards. It benefits from excellent underground and overground transport links.
Work Hours
The position is based on a four-day working week, totalling 40 hours, with occasional shifts at the nearby Hendon Hospital. The practice also participates in a one-in-three Saturday rota.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of clinical care and undertake nurse-led appointments
- Support veterinary surgeons during procedures and ensure an outstanding experience for patients, clients and colleagues
- Manage a varied caseload including patient admissions and discharges, monitoring and inpatient care, Schedule 3 procedures, and supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively to deliver the highest standards of care
