I'm dealing with a practice in Oxford who is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and experienced team. Having been recognised as one of the top three veterinary practices in Oxford for the seventh time, the practice is proud of the high standard of care and service it provides to both patients and clients.
The practice is locally owned and has enjoyed more than 10 years of experience, building a varied and busy caseload alongside a loyal and established client base. The team consists of nine supportive colleagues who enjoy working in a positive and sociable environment, with regular opportunities to get together for meals, celebrations and seasonal events throughout the year.
The veterinary team has a broad range of clinical interests, including internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging and ophthalmology. The practice is keen to welcome a nurse with their own particular area of interest and is committed to supporting individual development through tailored CPD and further training opportunities.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering excellent nursing and client care while contributing to the welcoming and collaborative atmosphere within the practice. They will have the opportunity to use their nursing skills to their full potential, supporting patients throughout their journey from admission and inpatient care through to anaesthesia, recovery and discharge.
Professional development is actively encouraged, with support available for CPD, additional qualifications and training in Schedule 3 procedures. Nurses with particular interests in areas such as inpatient care, diagnostic laboratory work, medical nursing or surgical nursing will also be encouraged to further develop their skills.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with no out-of-hours requirement.
In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary starting from Β£34,000, depending on experience, alongside a generous CPD allowance and support towards further qualifications.
