My client is a proudly independent practice, dedicated to setting the standard for exceptional veterinary care. With multiple sites and a strong reputation for innovation and compassion, they believe every patient deserves to be treated as if they were your own. They also believe the team deserves the same commitment β€” a supportive, collaborative environment where you can grow, develop, and truly make an impact.

They are now looking for an inspiring Nurse Manager to lead a talented nursing team at their King's Lynn hospital. This is a role for someone who not only loves veterinary nursing, but also thrives on bringing out the best in others. You'll play a key part in shaping the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding patient care, and seamless client experience.

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind a motivated, well-supported team. You'll take ownership of recruitment, training, and professional development, making sure every nurse feels empowered to grow in their career. You'll be hands-on in guiding clinical standards, supporting audits and reviews, and ensuring the practice environment is safe, organised, and well-equipped. Above all, you'll be leading by example β€” delivering excellent care to patients while building trust and confidence with clients.

As part of the senior management structure, you'll also contribute to the bigger picture: helping shape new initiatives such as nurse-led clinics, client education projects, and improvements to the way they work. It's a role that combines leadership, clinical excellence, and operational oversight β€” perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference both on the floor and at a strategic level.

What they are looking for:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least two years' experience and a genuine passion for leadership.
  • Ability to balance clinical expertise with strong people skills β€” able to motivate a team, handle challenges constructively, and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Confidence with practice management systems and good organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire, communicate, and drive standards of care forward.
