A leading veterinary team in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive and collaborative 24-hour practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality out-of-hours care across several local practices, managing a varied caseload with a focus on emergency and critical care, as well as inpatient support. This is a full-time position based at the 24-hour hospital, working an annualised hours contract designed to provide an excellent work-life balance. The role follows a 5 nights on, 10 nights off rota, with shifts running from 7pm to 9am.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be confident working independently overnight and have strong experience handling emergency and critical care cases.
- Previous out-of-hours or ECC experience is essential, along with excellent clinical judgement, a calm approach under pressure, and a compassionate, team-focused attitude.
Qualifications
