This small animal Hospital practice is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN with at least 12 months’ experience who is keen to develop their skills, explore clinical interests and become part of a progressive practice that places a strong emphasis on patient care and team development.
The practice has recently expanded its hospital and continues to invest in both its facilities and people. The team benefits from access to advanced equipment and services, including CT, hydrotherapy, endoscopy and laparoscopy, creating plenty of opportunities for nurses to broaden their clinical experience and take on additional responsibilities.
There is scope to become involved in Schedule 3 procedures and develop advanced nursing skills, with tailored support available for those looking to progress their careers. The practice encourages its nurses to make the most of their individual interests and provides a collaborative environment where development and clinical confidence are actively supported.
The role is ideally offered on a full‑time basis across four days per week, with participation in a 1‑in‑4 weekend rota. However, the practice is flexible and, where possible, is happy to discuss alternative working patterns to suit the successful candidate.
The salary is £28,500–£34,000 FTE depending on experience, alongside a quarterly bonus worth approximately £600 per year.
- Three paid CPD days
- £500 CPD allowance
- RCVS, BVNA and VDS memberships covered
- Contributory pension
- Day off for birthdays
