My lovely client in Manchester is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and established team. The Practice

The nursing team consists of five RVNs, supported by a welcoming front-of-house team of six receptionists. It is a busy environment where nurses enjoy staying involved and making a real contribution to the day-to-day running of the practice.
The successful RVN will have a particular interest in theatre work, anaesthesia and surgical nursing. With one of the practice vets having recently completed a Surgery Certificate, there is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys being hands-on in theatre, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with procedures and helping ensure surgical days run efficiently.
Applicants should have solid general nursing experience, strong client-care skills and a genuine commitment to animal welfare. The team is looking for someone who is cheerful, enthusiastic and down-to-earth, with a positive approach and a willingness to work collaboratively.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, including one Saturday in four, with time off in lieu provided. The current rota consists of 8:30am–4:30pm and 11am–7pm shifts, with the option to work four longer days instead if preferred. There are also no OOH duties or overnight inpatient checks, helping to provide a sustainable work-life balance.
The position offers a salary of up to £37,000 FTE, depending on experience, together with a yearly birthday bonus. The practice also provides generous CPD support, including opportunities for funded certificates, allowing the successful candidate to continue building their clinical skills and progressing their career within a supportive independent practice.
