Veterinary Surgeon – Borough of Southwark, Greater London

Permanent | Full Time

My client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a team run by a lovely partner. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment where patient care, client service, and clinical excellence are always the top priorities.

Dealership: You will be working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, one RVN, one SVN, two VCAs and a welcoming client care team. Modern equipment and a varied caseload will give you an opportunity to develop your skills while maintaining a strong work–life balance. The clinic is undergoing a full refurbishment, providing a chance to contribute to the development of a modern, fully equipped practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations and routine surgery with confidence.
  • Take sole charge on Saturdays and manage the clinical workload independently.
  • Use ultrasound techniques such as AFAST or TFAST when required.
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to deliver high‐quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Two to three years post‐qualification experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Proficiency in both consultations and routine surgery.
  • Comfortable using ultrasound, especially AFAST or TFAST.
  • Strong team‐oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
