Registered Veterinary Nurse position in Battersea, London. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a rota between 8:30am–4:30pm or 11:00am–7:00pm. There is a Saturday rota (1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am–1pm) with a weekday off in return. Importantly, there is no out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients before and after surgery, provide support under anaesthetic and sedation, administer drugs and injections, and prepare animals for theatre.
  • Assist with x-rays, perform diagnostic tests using the in-house Idexx lab, and carry out nurse consults while offering advice to clients.
  • Maintain surgical equipment and kennels, ensuring high standards of care and wellbeing for every patient.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, support the development of Student Nurse and VCA colleagues, and assist on reception when needed.

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience.
  • Friendly, approachable manner with clients; strong clinical skills.
  • Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
