Veterinary Nurse – Full-Time

35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Support the vets during consultations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccinations.
- Monitor patient health and behaviour.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work and urinalysis.
- Maintain detailed medical records.
- Prepare animals for surgery and provide post-operative care.
- Ensure the clinic remains clean, organised, and fully equipped.
- Provide client education on animal care, nutrition, and behaviour.
- Occasionally assist with front-of-house tasks such as appointment scheduling and client communications.
Qualifications
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse or possess equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience in a veterinary setting.
- Solid understanding of veterinary lab procedures.
- Confident communicator with a calm and organised approach, even in fast-paced situations.
