A motivated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon is sought to join a supportive team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This opportunity is ideal for a vet who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional standards of patient and client care.
The successful candidate will be based in a newly refurbished clinic, managing a varied caseload alongside an experienced and supportive team. The practice is equipped with modern facilities, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and laparoscopic spay equipment, enabling a high standard of clinical care. Close collaboration with a nearby 24-hour centre also provides access to advanced services such as orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and CT scanning.
Conveniently located, the practice benefits from excellent transport connections, with Orrell Park train station just a short three-minute walk away. This full-time role involves working 40 hours across four days, with no weekend or out-of-hours commitments.
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support career development and wellbeing. Annual leave starts at five weeks plus bank holidays and increases with service, alongside an additional paid personal day off.

Additional support includes paid RCVS, VDS, and BVA fees, with relocation assistance, visa sponsorship, and sabbatical opportunities available depending on length of service.
