This West Yorkshire practice is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon who can help the team continue to grow and evolve. The position is typically a 40âhour week with a 1âinâ3 Saturday commitment, though the rota is flexible and can be adapted to suit your needs. You'll be joining a friendly and highly experienced team with exceptionally low turnover, and you won't be required to cover outâofâhours or Sunday work. They're looking for someone confident in routine surgery and consultations, who enjoys being part of a supportive and collaborative environment.
Salaries are highly competitive, with earnings of up to ÂŁ70,000 depending on experience. This is a longâstanding, standalone practice, locally owned and run by an experienced RVN who has worked hard to build a strong, caring and reputable clinic at the heart of the community. The practice attracts many referrals thanks to a visiting veterinary surgeon who performs advanced orthopaedic procedures, including hip replacements.
You'll be working alongside a very experienced vet who has been part of the team for nearly two decades and brings thirty years of clinical experience. The wider team includes RVNs, VCAs and SVNs who provide excellent support, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
This role is well suited to a veterinary surgeon who is confident across all general practice duties and is looking to take the next step in their career. They welcome new ideas and enthusiasm, and with the guidance of an experienced team you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the practice.
In return, you'll receive a generous salary package, no outâofâhours work, and a rota that can be tailored to support a healthy workâlife balance. CPD is encouraged, certificates can be supported, and professional memberships such as RCVS and BVA are paid for.
