A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join one of my client's long-established team in Edinburgh. This is your chance to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking practice with a strong reputation for providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships with loyal clients.

They are seeking a confident and capable vet experienced across all areas of general practice. The role can be tailored to suit your lifestyle, with both full-time and part-time options available, and they actively support flexible working. You’ll take part in a 1-in-3 weekend rota, working alongside at least one other vet, two RVNs and two receptionists during the week. At weekends you’ll work sole charge with the support of a nurse and a receptionist.

The purpose-built, fully equipped practice is located in the heart of Edinburgh and includes two full-time vets, two part-time vets, three RVNs, a Practice Manager and three client care advisors. Weekend work mainly involves emergency and urgent cases, with a limited number of routine appointments. No surgeries are scheduled during weekend shifts, allowing you to focus on immediate and critical cases. A fixed rota and time off during the week following weekend shifts support a great work-life balance.
