Position Overview

Veterinary Nurse (full‑time or part‑time) – competitive salary from £30,000 FTE, based on experience. Join a welcoming team in Chester, composed of experienced and enthusiastic staff. There are no out‑of‑hours duties; weekend commitment is one in two Saturday mornings, with plans to reduce to one in three from 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver first‑opinion clinical care and build strong relationships with patients and clients.
  • Provide nurse consults, inpatient care, and theatre duties, including anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance.
  • Encourage development of personal interests and manage a diverse caseload across varied clinical areas.
  • Maintain a calm, organised working environment with protected lunch breaks and a carefully managed diary.
