My Client are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their passionate and supportive team at a well‐established, community‐focused hospital in Lancashire. This permanent, full‐time role offers the chance to work within a busy hospital environment. It is particularly suited to a vet with a strong interest in hospital‐based work, especially in the management of complex medical cases and inpatients.

Responsibilities

  • 40 hours per week, split across a mix of early and late shifts between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm.
  • Three days of inpatient care and one consulting day per week.
  • Weekend rota covering one in every six full weekends.
  • Collaborate with a team of six vets, seven day RVNs, three night RVNs, and client‐care assistants.
  • Utilise full‐lab digital, dental X‐ray, ultrasound and VidiVet resources.

Qualifications

  • Medical certificate and significant experience in internal medicine.
  • Experience in management of complex medical cases and inpatients.
  • Working towards further qualifications is desirable.

Team & Facilities

  • Full night team and 2 RVNs trained in ultrasound.
  • Access to VidiVet and full lab digital capabilities.
  • Supportive 24‐hour hospital environment.
