My Client are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their passionate and supportive team at a well‐established, community‐focused hospital in Lancashire. This permanent, full‐time role offers the chance to work within a busy hospital environment. It is particularly suited to a vet with a strong interest in hospital‐based work, especially in the management of complex medical cases and inpatients.
Responsibilities
- 40 hours per week, split across a mix of early and late shifts between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm.
- Three days of inpatient care and one consulting day per week.
- Weekend rota covering one in every six full weekends.
- Collaborate with a team of six vets, seven day RVNs, three night RVNs, and client‐care assistants.
- Utilise full‐lab digital, dental X‐ray, ultrasound and VidiVet resources.
Qualifications
- Medical certificate and significant experience in internal medicine.
- Experience in management of complex medical cases and inpatients.
- Working towards further qualifications is desirable.

- Full night team and 2 RVNs trained in ultrasound.
- Access to VidiVet and full lab digital capabilities.
- Supportive 24‐hour hospital environment.
