An exciting opportunity has become available for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join a well‑established first‑opinion practice located in Brentwood, Essex. The clinic offers a blend of routine GP procedures and more complex surgical cases, supported by ultrasound and K‑Laser technology, in a collaborative and well‑resourced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consultations on a varied caseload of small animal patients
  • Perform routine GP surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and prescribe and dispense medication in line with current legislation and professional guidance
  • Refer cases appropriately to specialist services
  • Participate in on‑call and weekend shifts as scheduled (1‑4 Saturday rotation, 1‑8 Sunday rotation at a local hospital, 1–2 bank holidays per year)
  • Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team culture and uphold high clinical standards

Benefits

  • Salary range: £45,000 to £72,000 FTE, dependent on experience
  • Annual leave: 6.6 weeks inclusive of bank holidays (pro‑rata for part‑time colleagues)
  • Relocation assistance where applicable
  • Up to £2,000 CPD allowance annually with paid CPD leave
