Overview
An experienced Veterinary Surgeon leadership role in Bolton, focused on mentoring, leading by example and shaping the next generation of veterinary professionals while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead as part of the practice leadership team, attend leadership meetings, and deputise for the Head Vet where appropriate.
- Serve as Vet GDP Advisor, overseeing the progression of graduate and early-career Veterinary Surgeons; provide guidance, support and clinical exposure to build confidence and support career development.
- Identify learning opportunities within the team, contribute to the delivery of training programmes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Line manage foundation-level Veterinary Surgeons with regular coaching, performance feedback and career development support.
Qualifications
- MRCVS (or FRCVS) registered and Vet GDP accredited.
- Strong clinical experience with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting and developing others.
