Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full-Time Opportunity – Durham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a welcoming and supportive team in a modern, purpose‐built practice. This role offers a varied rota designed to make full use of nursing skills while supporting a healthy work‐life balance.
Responsibilities
The position requires working four 10‐hour shifts per week. This includes a shared weekday duty shift focused on inpatient care and triaging emergency telephone calls, for which a generous financial bonus is provided. Saturdays are included on a pro‐rata basis, while Sundays and Bank Holidays are completely free, allowing valuable personal time.
Location & Facilities
Based in a well‐equipped and forward‐thinking practice, the facilities include an in‐house laboratory, digital X‐ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser therapy, inpatient hospitalisation facilities, a mobile vet and nurse clinic, and a dedicated quiet room. The practice is RCVS‐accredited and holds Gold Award status as an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.
