We're looking for someone who creates content, so we need to see you create content. Your application must include:
- A 60‑second video telling us why you're right for this role (shot and edited by you)
- A brief written note (200 words max) with an example of content you're proud of
Applications without video content won't be considered.
The Role
We're looking for a creative powerhouse. An idea machine. A natural storyteller who shoots, edits, and publishes content that makes people feel something. We need someone who wakes up with content ideas. Who sees a customer story and immediately knows how to turn it into something scroll‑stopping. Who can plan a month of content before lunch, then spend the afternoon shooting and editing it. This is a content‑first role. You'll spend most of your time creating, editing, planning, and building communities around two premium brands.
If you're obsessed with what makes content work, have your finger on the pulse in terms of latest trends, platforms, and algorithm updates, we want to meet you.
About Us
We create premium display cases that turn meaningful possessions into beautiful home centrepieces via two brands:
- Bright Ivy (Primary Focus for this role) – Emotional gifting for milestone moments. Preserving what matters most. A brand‑new venture building on proven success.
- Display Champ – Golf and other sports memorabilia displays. Trusted by DP World Tour, Reebok, professional athletes. Passionate collector community built over a successful first year.
You'll spend roughly 4 days a week on Bright Ivy as we build this exciting new brand, with 1 day maintaining momentum on Display Champ.
What You'll Do
- Video & Content Creation (60%)
- Generate a constant stream of content ideas, independently coming up with fresh angles and approaches
- Shoot authentic, native video content: Stories, Reels, TikToks that feel real, not overproduced
- Edit video content to a professional standard using CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools
- Interview customers on camera, capture their stories, edit moments into compelling content
- Write copy that connects: product descriptions, email campaigns, social posts that make people care
- Own the entire content pipeline: ideation, shooting, editing, publishing
- Community & Brand Building (30%)
- Build and nurture brand communities where customers feel part of something special
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with brand advocates and micro‑influencers
- Coordinate UGC campaigns that generate authentic customer content
- Manage social content calendars with military precision
- Organisation & Planning (10%)
- Build content systems and templates that keep two brands running smoothly
- Maintain email marketing flows (Klaviyo or similar)
- Track performance and continuously improve what's working
You're The Perfect Fit If:
- Ideas machine: You don't wait to be told what to create. You have a notes app full of content ideas. You see inspiration everywhere.
- Skilled video creator: You can shoot on your phone and make it look great. You edit confidently in CapCut, Premiere, or similar. You understand pacing, cuts, and what keeps people watching.
- Camera‑confident: Comfortable on camera and behind it. You understand what works on each platform.
- Natural storyteller: You know how to find the emotional hook in any story. You make people stop scrolling.
- Community builder: You've built engaged audiences before. You know how to make people feel seen and valued.
- Incredibly organised: You build systems and stick to them. Content calendars, asset libraries, posting schedules—you keep everything running like clockwork.
- Self‑starter: You take ownership. You see what needs doing and do it without being asked.
- Relationship cultivator: Experience identifying and working with influencers or brand advocates. Natural connector.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with product photography and image styling
- Track record of growing social accounts or running successful UGC campaigns
- Background in gifting, luxury goods, or emotionally‑driven products
- Understanding of SEO and content optimisation
Why Two Brands Works
You’ll focus primarily on Bright Ivy (4 days) with Display Champ (1 day). This works because:
- Same skills, different stories: Both brands need authentic storytelling, community building, and consistent content. The process is identical—only the messaging differs.
- Shared systems: One content calendar framework, one workflow, one set of templates. Build it once, adapt it twice.
- Proven foundation: Display Champ had a hugely successful first year. Now we’re applying those learnings to build Bright Ivy from the ground up.
- Clear growth path: In 12‑18 months we’ll add support, hopefully even quicker. You’ll help decide what we need.
What We Offer
- £32,000 – £40,000 + performance bonus up to £5,000
- Learn from experienced founders: Work directly with founders who have decades of business‑building experience. Real mentorship, not micromanagement.
- Hybrid working (2‑3 days Newmarket office, rest remote)
- Budget for courses, tools, and development
- Small team where your impact is immediate and visible
- Premium products we’re genuinely proud of
You're NOT Right If:
- You need to be told what content to create
- You can shoot but not edit (or vice versa)
- You're camera‑shy or uncomfortable being the face of content
- You prefer highly polished, agency‑style content over authentic, native formats
- Organisation and planning aren’t your strong suits
- You want to specialise in just one area rather than owning the whole content function
