Travel required to nurseries located in Bristol, Oxford, Beaconsfield, and North London (travel 3-4 times a week) plus our offices when required. Driving licence and car is essential for this role.
Purpose of Role
To make Bright Horizons the first‑choice nursery for parents seeking early years childcare in their local area. The Marketing Executive / Growth Marketing Lead is responsible for analysing and supporting incoming customer data to identify opportunities across the parent journey that will drive increased occupancy. Working in close partnership with Operations, the role helps shape and deliver the growth elements of each nursery's individual plan, turning insight into practical, locally‑led actions that support sustainable growth.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insight: Use approved systems such as CRM, Qlik & internal Bright Horizons processes to improve & report effectively to drive the best returns & optimise growth within nurseries. Analyse customer data to identify opportunities in the customer journey such as Check‑in compliance, parent application compliance, virtual assistant or tour availability. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to conversion rates & compliance. Provide weekly, monthly & quarterly insight to regional and operational leadership teams and recommendations based on data analysis to improve occupancy at regional and divisional level.
- Parent Acquisition Journey ownership: Develop and implement local, regional or divisional strategies to address gaps in the customer journey from CRM related insight to nursery performance. Collaborate with local and regional support teams to ensure compliance and marketing KPI's are met. Locate, nurture & foster locally agreed & approved partnerships & sponsorships for nurseries that need an increase or reputational enhancement.
- Supporting and Regional Business Needs: Assess business needs at local and regional levels to identify areas for improvement by concentrating on an agreed cohort of settings for 12 months. Develop tailored strategies to address specific local and regional challenges and opportunities through marketing plans for those chosen settings. Effective budget management to maximize returns on investment. Collaborate with the centralised marketing team to develop and implement local marketing campaigns where necessary.
- Behaviours & Continuous Development: Identify opportunities for process improvement & lead cross‑functional teams to deliver process improvement. Identify opportunities for continuous professional development, in line with business needs.
Experience
- Experienced multi‑site operator, with proven record of success within a medium/large service sector, delivering high‑quality customer propositions and securing YOY growth.
- Ability to plan and deliver strategy, use systems and analytics, digital technology, and data to identify actions to turnaround and improve performance; drive commercial outcomes and measure the impact of initiatives and work‑streams.
- Experience of Power Bi and Monday.com.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in marketing, project management, or a related role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise briefs and reports.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Understanding and experience in use of social media.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience working with remote/hybrid teams.
- Experience in the education or childcare sector is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field desirable.
- Project Management qualification desirable.
