The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
As an Early Years Chef, you will prepare, cook, and present age-appropriate food for children in the nursery, ensuring minimal wastage. You will cater to all dietary requirements, communicate them clearly to the team, and work in partnership with colleagues and parents to promote a healthy and nutritious diet. You will also lead cookery club sessions with children and support other nursery activities such as BBQs, Fetes, and staff meetings.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a cooking role, either domestically or commercially
- Passion for nutrition and inspiring healthy eating
- Knowledge of managing dietary requirements, including food allergies
- Food Safety CIEH Level 2 or above (or equivalent) – to be obtained on day 1
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, children, and parents
- Ability to work under pressure
