Bright Horizons The Treehouse Early Care & Education Centre is a purpose‑built nursery on the Robert Gordon University campus, offering high‑quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. It provides enriching, age‑appropriate learning through sensory play, STEM activities, loose‑parts exploration, and cosy reading spaces. The centre stands out for its four distinct outdoor areas, including a mud kitchen, tricycles, balance equipment, and a secret garden for nature discovery.

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working with children – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
