Hybrid Working: Minimum 1β2 days per week at our Head Office in Northampton.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement categories and partner with stakeholders to develop long-term strategies that deliver quality, value, and service. You will build strong supplier relationships, drive innovation, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk while maximizing efficiency and cost benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities across assigned categories.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
- Engage early with operational teams to understand product and service needs.
- Manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
- Build strong supplier relationships to ensure high performance and innovation.
- Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with finance to resolve payment issues and maintain cost control.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical capability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
- Demonstrable leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Experience
- Procurement experience in medium to large businesses.
- Exposure to business transformation and change projects.
- Previous experience procuring Marketing Services, HR, and IT.
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (or equivalent).
- MCIPS qualification or working towards it.
