Bright Horizons is looking for an experienced ER Advisor to join our team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll partner with managers and HR colleagues to provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance. This role requires an enhanced DBS.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Advising on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and policy matters
  • Coaching managers to confidently handle ER issues
  • Supporting organisational change such as restructures and redundancies
  • Using HR data to spot trends, mitigate risk, and improve outcomes
  • Managing a varied ER caseload and ensuring timely case resolution
  • Working closely with HRBPs, Legal, and operational leaders

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong, hands-on ER experience with high‑volume, complex cases
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience supporting managers across multiple sites
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and solve problems
  • Evidence of CPD (For example - CIPD)
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel when needed

Desirable:

  • Experience in the nursery/education sector
  • Business coaching qualification
